Lyrics[edit | edit source]

When we were young, we promised always to be by each other's sides
How long has it been since then?
I found those floating petals dazzling,
But even if I stretched my hands out, it felt like they were out of reach

If you're going down a separate path,
I will not stop you
If you can't find happiness here,
It's fine for you to go bloom somewhere else
But I want to be the first one to see you in full bloom

I believed, without a doubt, that you would protect me to the very end, but
The caged bird had always longed for the blue sky

When did the chick learn to sing so gallantly?
Both the flowers and the wings sway as they soar in the wind

Farewell, I am going on a journey
And leaving you behind
But in order not to forget the memories we've made,
I shall carry on with this pain in my heart

Because the current is swift, even though the river
blocked by a boulder, is divided, like it, in the end, we will surely meet
Even if a flourishing path branches out,
It shall eventually come to be a single straight road
May this flower bloom for the sake of that one person
For as long as our fleeting lives last
