The protagonist of "Aladdin and the Magic Lamp." Can be lazy, but is quite kind at heart. Finding a magic lamp that grants wishes brings big changes to Aladdin's life. 
If You Had Three Wishes
Junna:"...And Aladdin and the princess lived happily ever after."
Claudine:Oh, Junna, what are you reading?
Nana:Is that an "Aladdin and the Magic Lamp" picture book?
Junna:That musical we all saw together was so good, i wanted to reread the original story.
Junna:They're mostly the same, but the number of wishes differs.
Junna:In the show, the Genie in the Lamp only grants three wishes, right?
Claudine:That provided some plot tension.
Nana:Right, the granting of the final wish was quite moving!
Junna:But in the original story, there were an unlimited number of wishes. You could wish for anything any number of times.
Claudine:Really? That seems pretty generous.
Nana:But it seems like it would be difficult to create a climax in a story like that. It might be hard to turn it into a theater show.
Junna:That's probably why they changed the number. The climax is more exciting that way.
Nana:Even if I had a magic lamp, I don't think I could come up with that many wishes anyway ♪
Claudine:Well, that's true.
Claudine:But if there really was one, what would you wish for?
Nana:How about you, Junna-chan?
Junna:Hmm, I have a long list, but I'd start with being able to swim.
Nana:Huh? You don't need a magic lamp for that. I could teach you.
Junna:No, I want to do it myself. After all, we have to overcome our obstacles ourselves!
Claudine:I'm afraid that argument doesn't hold water if you use a magic lamp.
Junna:Oh. You're right. Then I wish that no one sees me practicing.
Nana:Junna-chan, your wishes are getting more and more mundane.
Claudine:That's Junna for you. She's so straitlaced, after all.
Junna:Then what about you, Saijo-san? What would you wish for?
Claudine:Me? Oh, umm...
Claudine:A wider vocal range... No, make that sensitivity and expressiveness. Wait, no... I'd want more... You know...
Claudine:(This won't do. I'm always comparing myself to her and trying to fill the gap.)
Junna:Saijo-san?
Claudine:Huh? Oh, it's hard to say, even if it's just pretend. Besides, what I want isn't something you should ask the Genie of the Lamp.
Claudine:I agree with Junna. You should make an effort to get the things you want.
Nana:Come on, this is a fantasy. What's the point of even talking about a magic lamp if you're gonna be so serious?
Junna:Okay, then, what would your wish be, Nana?
Nana:I'd wish for... Hmm...
Nana:I suppose I'd wish for the 100th Seisho Festival to be a success.
Claudine:That's something we're all wishing for, not just you, Nana.
Nana:Oh.
Junna:Rather than a wish, it's something we're going to make happen, no matter what.
Nana:Yes, that's true!
Claudine:Wait, so then we really don't need a magic lamp, do we?
Nana:Hey, you're right.
Claudine:Come on, I was just trying to have some fun. You could at least try to dream a little bigger.
Junna:That's true. The Genie of the Lamp needs to have something to do after being summoned, after all.
Claudine:Oh, you... Heh heh.

Ethnic Costumes
Claudine:Eeeeeeeeek!
Futaba:Listen, Clau, if horror movies really scare you that much, you should stop watching them.
Claudine:That's not going to happen! After all, I borrowed this one from Maya Tendo!
Claudine:If I don't watch it all the way through, I will have lost!
Futaba:You have some nerve saying that after dragging me into this 'cause you're too scared to watch it by yourself.

Claudine:Aaugh!
Futaba:Ugh, stop clinging to me like that. I already told you a thousand times!
Claudine:Whew, that was scary.
Futaba:I actually found the way you screamed at the top of your lungs scarier.
Claudine:I still have goosebumps all over. I'm sure to have nightmares tonight.
Futaba:How about we watch TV to get your mind off of it? Maybe there's something interesting on. Let's see...
Futaba:Hey, where have I seen that actor before?
Claudine:Isn't that the star of "Aladdin and the Magic Lamp"?
Claudine:He's on TV to promote it.
Futaba:It IS a big hit. This is basically a TV special just for that show.
Claudine:It looks like he's wearing the exact same costume he wears on stage.
Futaba:It's like Aladdin escaped from the stage world to come on TV.
Claudine:But unlike at the theater, you have plenty of time to check out every last detail.
Futaba:Yeah, during all that onstage action, I didn't notice how elaborate this costume is.
Futaba:Clau, I bet you'd look good in a costume like that.
Claudine:Hmm, I wonder...
Claudine:I've never worn an ethnic costume, so it's hard to say.
Claudine:It's so different from what I'm used to.
Claudine:I imagine you'd really have to practice if you want to move naturally in a costume like that.
Claudine:Still, I'm tall, so I'm sure I'd look good in it.
Futaba:I envy tall people like you. I don't think I could pull it off.
Claudine:But there are clothes that you look great in because of your petite body, Futaba.
Claudine:I envy YOU in that respect.
Futaba:Not many costumes like that, though. And there's a difference in onstage performance, too.
Futaba:I mean, unlike tall folks like you or Nana, people like me have to make up for our short stature with stamina.
Futaba:And frankly, there aren't many roles for short people, even in fairy tales.
Claudine:That's not true. For example...
Futaba:For example, what!?
Claudine:Umm... The Inch-High--
Futaba:The Inch-High Samurai doesn't count.
Claudine:Th-The Seven--
Futaba:The Seven Dwarves don't count, either.
Claudine:Then maybe the genie when it's in the lamp?
Futaba:That's just a tiny version of the genie!
Claudine:Heh heh, it's just, seeing the Aladdin promo on TV made me think of that. But there are plenty of roles that would suit you, Futaba.
Claudine:After all, there are an endless number of stage shows around the world.
Futaba:I hope you're right about that.
Claudine:It's true. There's a show coming up starring a petite actress. You should come see it with me.
Futaba:Yeah, that sounds great!
Claudine:Oh, and one more thing...
Futaba:Now what, Clau?
Claudine:I don't want to sleep by myself. Can I sleep with you tonight?
Futaba:Huh? ...Oh, you mean because of the horror movie?
Futaba:Fine, come over to my room tonight. But let this be a lesson to you--no more horror movies.
Claudine:As much as I'd like that, if Maya Tendo recommends another one, I'll watch it!
Futaba:Then I better tell Tendo NOT to recommend horror movies to you.
Claudine:Have you seen "Aladdin and the Magic Lamp" yet? It's a wonderful show. But the lead actor didn't really nail the role.
Claudine:So you saw "Aladdin and the Magic Lamp"? What did you think? You enjoyed it? I did, too. The script and the presentation were really good.
Claudine:It was a great show. The casting left a little to be desired, but the actors' performances themselves were quite good, and I learned a lot.
Claudine:Oh, look at me going on and on about Aladdin. Heh heh, anyway, let's talk about stage shows again sometime if you want!
