Butai Shoujo Dai-Undoukai revival (舞台少女大運動会revival) is a live athletic meet event that took place on February 25, 2024 at Makuhari Messe International Exhibition Hall in Chiba, Tokyo.[1]

This event was originally scheduled to take place on April 25, 2020 at Maihama Amphitheater in Chiba, Tokyo;[2] however, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was first announced as postponed on March 31, 2020[3] and then cancelled on June 6, 2022[4]. Like the cancelled Band Live "Starry Session", merch for the event was sold despite the postponement.[5]

Online streaming of the event was made available on eplus for domestic viewers only.

The teams for this event were decided through a draft meeting which was streamed online. The leaders of the four teams created their teams' names and logos, and chose two members of their teams. The rest were assigned randomly.

Trivia[]

  • Risa Tsumugi was originally going to appear, but chose to not participate due to chronic back pain. Kanon Nanaki originally chose her for the green team.
  • Hinata Sato refrained from speaking during the event due to a throat problem.
  • Minami Tsukui and Tsukasa Hiryu joined the event partway through. Yuka Kobayashi switched to doing live commentary after they joined.
  • The original event was titled Shōjo☆Kageki Revue Starlight -Re LIVE- Butai Shoujo Dai-Undoukai, but for the revival -Re LIVE- was removed, possibly due to the addition of Hekiru Shiina who does not appear in Re LIVE.
  • The original event only had Starlight Kuku Gumi and Siegfeld Institute of Music Edels as the participants, but for the revival, all schools were represented. With a total of 28 people joining, it is the event with the largest number of cast members present, surpassing 3rd StarLive "Starry Diamond" which had a total of 21 cast members. The venue for the revival was also larger, and featured a central track and field for the games.
