Stage Play

Shōjo☆Kageki Revue Starlight was created from the concept of starting with an original musical and then expanding into other media forms, opposite of the typical 2.5D musical. The first stage play was the first production in the franchise and was created alongside the anime. The main nine cast members, Starlight Kuku Gumi, all had considerable experience as stage actors when they were cast.

The main stage play series is titled Shōjo☆Kageki Revue Starlight -The LIVE- and focused around the 99th Class of Seisho Music Academy. Within this series, there have been spin-off plays focusing on Seiran General Art Institute and Siegfeld Institute of Music (with other characters from Shōjo☆Kageki Revue Starlight Re LIVE appearing).

In 2022, a series featuring the Siegfeld Institute of Music Junior High titled Shōjo☆Kageki Revue Starlight -The STAGE Junior High- began.

In 2024, a series of stage adaptations of in-universe plays titled Shōjo☆Kageki Revue Starlight -The MUSICAL- began.

For each performance, the first part is a musical and the second part is a live concert.
