On the Night of the Star Festival (星祭りの夜に, Hoshi Matsuri no Yoru ni) is the ninth episode of Shōjo☆Kageki Revue Starlight. It originally aired in Japan on September 6th, 2018.
Introduction[]
The script for the 100th Seisho Festival's "Starlight" has just been completed, and Nana's heart is in turmoil as she is still concerned with re-enacting the 99th edition. The nine Stage Girls are drawn to this play, in which a beautiful but sad farewell awaits. Nana intention to preserve "that day" and the future Karen and Hikari strive for converge on the stage.
Premise[]
Preparations for the next performance of Starlight continue, and everyone is filled with hope as they move forward. Everyone that is, except for Nana, who sinks into despair.[1]
Summary[]
While Karen and Hikari read the original story of Starlight together, Junna learns from Nana about how she had been repeating time to relive the 99th festival's Starlight, refusing to accept anything different. Realising that Karen is the one who has changed her repeat performance as opposed to Hikari, Nana faces off against her in the auditions. With Karen's vow of constantly evolving instead of repeating the same thing, Nana loses the audition, along with her chances of another repeat performance. As Junna gives Nana some comfort, encouraging her to look ahead to a future with new possibilities, the giraffe prepares for the final day of auditions.
