Shizuha Kocho: Self-Introduction

I'm Shizuha Kocho, a second.year Stage Expression Course student at Frontier School of Arts.

Ever since I was little, I was in love with "the world of stories." The fictional world of people's imaginations is full of dreams and hopes.

I think actors who make these stories come to life on stage or on the small or big screen have the best job ever.

I wanted to introduce lots of people to the world of stories that captivated me since I was little.

Before I knew it, a strong desire to join the world of theater had naturally formed in my heart.

Acting is like striving for an ideal that's even further, even higher.

How close to the top can I get? I find this thought exhilarating.

The path to the top is not easy. It's steep and treacherous, I'm sure.

But I'm up for the challenge. I want to perform in the theater, and in movies, and in TV shows, too.

My dreams just keep growing bigger and bigger.

So even though practicing day in and day out can be tough, I'm never discouraged.

I'm improving, even if only little by little. And lately, there's also Aruru and Misora...

And Tsukasa and Lalafin, all practicing for plays we'll put on together. Performing with friends makes it even more fun.

Each one of them is quite a character, and I like them all a lot.

I'll keep making every effort to climb the never-ending path to the top.

I hope I can let lots of people to experience the world of dreams through my performances.

So please cheer me on, even if just a little.

Thank you for listening! Heh.

I'm looking forward to participating in this year's Performance Festival with everyone! I'm sure this will be a good opportunity for us.

Aruru-chan and Misora-chan have been making great improvements. I'm happy for them.

It looks like they had a good influence on Lalafin and Tsukasa, too. They're becoming sort of like older sisters to them.

I've got to try to keep up with them!
