Reo Kurachi (倉知 玲鳳) voices Fumi Yumeoji and is affiliated with S inc talent agency.

Biography[edit | edit source]

Reo has learned how to play the piano and electone ever since the age of two. She also began cheerleading in elementary school and continued all the way through high school. She describes her childhood self as very shy and timid. It wasn't until middle school, when she began watching anime characters on screen, that she was inspired to become more outgoing.

She decided she wanted to pursue a career in the entertainment industry in middle school. She was at the CD store buying a gift when she saw a K-ON!! character song CD and purchased it. After listening to the CD, she learned more about the series and the voice actors involved, inspiring her to become one herself.[1]

She joined S Inc in September 2016, adopting the stage name "Reo Kurachi". It was the name her mother would have given her if she were a boy, and to Reo, being a seiyuu is like "new life". She debuted as a voice actress through Nintendo Switch's Azure Striker Gunvolt: Striker Pack's drama CD released last August 2017.

Reo is also known for voicing:

  • Esora Shimizu in the D4DJ franchise
  • Reona Nyubara in the BanG Dream! franchise
