Yuyuko:*yawn* Good morning... Uh, right, self-introduction...
Yuyuko:
Yuyuko:I'm Yuyuko Tanaka, first-year student at the Rinmeikan Girls School Performance Department. I get called Yukko a lot, too.
Yuyuko:It's not a glamorous-sounding name, but it's not too bad.
Yuyuko:Let's see... What else should I talk about? Oh, how about things I like?
Yuyuko:I like sleeping in, and I love my bed. There's a pillow I've been using for a long time that fits me just perfectly.
Yuyuko:What? Of course I'm being serious. Oh, I know. I also like traditional Japanese arts.
Yuyuko:Noh, bunraku, kabuki theater, kodan... And rakugo storytelling most of all.
Yuyuko:I have a relative who does rakugo, and she's been doting on me since I was little.
Yuyuko:My interest in traditional theater is due to her influence, I think.
Yuyuko:There aren't many places nowadays where you can study classical Japanese language and arts, so that's why I enrolled here.
Yuyuko:Rakugo is my favorite, but I'm interested in all sorts of stage performances.
Yuyuko:I like TV series and films too, but watching people perform right in front of you is the best.
Yuyuko:My dream is to put on a play with elements of rakugo.
Yuyuko:I don't have a clear idea how to do that yet, but I'm trying various things as part of my late-night writing.
Yuyuko:That's another reason I'm so sleepy in the mornings...
Yuyuko:Huh!? Did I just say writing?
Yuyuko:That was a slipe of the tongue. You didn't hear anything! Just forget it, okay?
Yuyuko:So anyway, that's kinda what I'm doing.
Yuyuko:I've got friends I really get along with, so performing together is fun.
Yuyuko:*yawn* I got so sleepy all of a sudden. It's almost time for my nap, so let's wrap this up.
Yuyuko:Huh? My goals?
Yuyuko:Hmm... I'll try not to give in to sleepiness... Well, at least not too much.
Yuyuko:Can I go now?
Yuyuko:You're very considerate and thoughtful. I notice these things, and I appreciate it.
Yuyuko:I don't like people to see how much effort I have to put in. It makes me painfully aware that I'm not a natural.
Yuyuko:That's why I sneak out to practice at night... The others found out recently, though, and I'm not sure how to handle it.
Yuyuko:Oh, you can stay. I don't mind you being here. ...Not because I don't care what you think, of course.
