• The CDs of the regular and limited editions of the single, both of which include the full, in-film and instrumental versions of this song, alongside re-arranged versions of other songs used in the film, were scheduled to release on June 10, 2020, two weeks after the film's original release date of May 29, but were pushed back to September 9, over a month after the film's rescheduled release on August 7, due to issues surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic. However, a digital single featuring the in-film version of the song was released on June 10, and an album of the same format with the full, in-film and instrumental versions of this songs and the re-arranged songs was released on August 12.
• This song won the "Best Arrangement" award at the 2020 Anisong Awards.
• On the album, "Hokori to Ogori -movie ver.-" is listed as the third track and "The Star Knows ~Another~" is the fourth, to reflect an alteration in the order of the revues.
