Shōjo☆Kageki Revue Starlight Overture (少女☆歌劇 レヴュースタァライト オーバーチュア, Shōjo☆Kageki Revyū Sutāraito Ōbāchua) is an original manga depicting the Seisho Music Academy Actor Training Department's 99th Graduating Class in their first year of high school. It was illustrated by Goto Sora and written by Kanata Nakamura.
It was serialized in Dengeki G's Comic from the March 2018 issue to the December 2018 issue, and released in two volumes. The first volume (containing chapters 1-5) was released on June 27, 2018, and the second volume (containing chapters 6-10) was released on October 25, 2018.
The story of the manga serves as a prequel to the anime, except for the final chapter which takes place after the events of the anime and tells the same story as Re LIVE's Our Holy Night event.
Plot[]
For chapters 1-9, each chapter of the manga generally focuses on one character's story before the events covered in the anime. In order, the chapters focus on Karen Aijo, Mahiru Tsuyuzaki, Junna Hoshimi, Futaba Isurugi, Kaoruko Hanayagi, Hikari Kagura, Claudine Saijo, Maya Tendo, and Nana Daiba.
Chapter 10 focuses on Hikari and the rest of the 99th Class after the anime, and is the same story as Our Holy Night.
